The Delta Ultraviolet Elektra ® ES Series is
an upgrade from the Elektra E Series. While all internal components
of both units are identical, the ES Series features a mirror
polished Stainless Steel exterior shell, and a Stainless Steel
interior reflective liner. This liner increases the reflective
value from the UV Lightwave radiation of the high output ultraviolet
lamp inside the ES Series. This added reflection provides a
greater margin for operating degradation should the UV bulb
not be changed after 9000 hours of use, or should turbid water
be encountered inside the UV unit wet chamber. This added
margin of operation safety can be had at a very low additional
cost over the E Series, which makes the ES Series our most popular
Swimming Pool UV sanitizing system.
All E and ES Series units are identical in output and capacity.
That is, an Elektra E-10 and Elektra ES-10 are identical in
output and capacity (except as noted above). The same four
models (sizes) are available in the ES Series that are available
